The dysfunction of P-glycoprotein in dogs can result in potentially fatal neurotoxic reaction, especially following the administration of ivermectin, acepromazin, butorphanol, doramectin, doxorubicin, loperamid, milbemycin, moxidectin, selamectin, vinblastin and vincristin.
